SEO in Orange County | Indexed but Not Linked

In my post evaluation of a link-building service, I note that there are many published articles that are indexed but the back-link is not cited in my Webmaster Tools console. Neither are they showing up in any of the usual backllink checking tools and sites from SEO spyglass to Yahoo Site Explorer. It seems that most of these “lesser” article sites have about the same value as a nofollow comment on a PR-nothing stamp collecting blog.
I’m pinging a test article that I paid for, but with little hope of it ever rising to the point of being recognized by Google any more than one of those worthless comments.

For reference, The test article in question is here at the link. The article is duplicated across the web and that’s probably enough for Google to say, “I’ve already read this ten times. Enough!” It makes me want to stick to my own methods in my Orange County SEO work.

Blogroll vs. Backlinks in Article Content (WordPress)

I evaluated a competitor just ahead of me for Orange County SEO and discovered that most of the back links for the keyword came from one site and furthermore, from the blogroll, generating a large number of back links for the keyword. The weakness appeared to be that the software I used, SEO Spyglass, indicated that the link value was designated as zero, that’s right, 0. I don’t know how that assessment is reached but whatever the metric or the actual value, I have to agree that it was close. I wrote a few small articles on some of my blogs and this morning I had advanced ahead of that competitor with perhaps five new back links. That pretty well demonstrates the value of automatically generated links vs. contextual back links in article content, doesn’t it?

This would indicate that even in the context of this article, that has little to do with real estate, a back link to Palm Beach Gardens homes for sale or PGA National homes for sale or Fullerton Homes for sale holds more value than a generated link for the same appearing in the blogroll with every article posted.

For a targeted site featuring homes and real estate in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. And the golf resort community, Mirasol homes, I recently obtained a number one spot for a video based on my chosen keyword. The question is whether it can translate to marketable value on a standard web search for Mirasol homes for sale. Will it show up as “videos relating to” on the standard search pages? Will it increase traffic enough to boost the beneficiary site? Will it cause pages where it’s embedded to be visited longer and reduce bounce rate?

For Mirasol High End Custom Luxury Homes for Sale in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. the question will only be answered over time. Competitors haven’t quite given real SEO effort to video but back links still rein as primary in SEO.

    Real Estate SEO

I moved a competitive keyword up to page one in 30 days. The target is in the exclusive community of PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. An extensive effort was undertaken through blogging and syndication of his content on real estate and social networking portals. PGA National homes for sale in exclusive communities are centered on golf resort living and private clubs and facilities. The SEO effort primarily employed one hundred word short articles and commentaries on the various communities from Mirasol homes for sale to various sub-communities of Palm Beach Gardens home for sale.

Part of my success was predictable because I discovered that several competitors had engaged in automated link spamming and they hadn’t really put all that much effort into best practices for SEO. My prediction of catching up to them was realized earlier than expected. Analysis of competitor also revealed a roughly 50% ratio of wasted back-links with nofollow or irrelevant anchor text.

    Tertiary Reference for Real Estate

This is strictly a technique for support of secondary sites. Part of an overall strategy for SERPs domination. Each target post should be well crafted and content rich. Titles should be highly similar and keywords should closely align or match.

Real Estate posts naturally follow this schema anyway but carefully targeting keywords and titles will yield good results, especially when long-tail keywords are targeted.

Mirasol Homes for Sale in Palm Beach Gardens is such a long keyword or key-phrase that has already performed well but this particular post is to expand the scope of keyword results for the real estate community of Mirasol Homes in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This community is one of the exclusive luxury golf centered enclaves in south Florida’s Palm Beach County.
