Number of Links
Several blogs I help manage got to the point where one had 670 links on the front page. I reduced the number of live posts and killed some of the categories in 2 posts. Lots more to go to get to the <100 sweet spot for SEO. Have to get the author to cool it on the tags and categories. Some 8 to 10 on each post is far too much!

Real Estate In Exclusive Neighborhoods and Lazy SEOs
Exclusive real estate brokerages hire SEO experts to make sure they rank high for real estate related web searches, right?
I’ve only been working on a target real estate farm for a client for about a month. Already, the supposedly “established” websites are yielding to my SEO campaign. Oh, not yet for the vanity keywords like “Pittsburg homes for sale”, (not the target area) but more specific terms like specific neighborhoods, the kind of searches that people put into Google, but not lazy SEOs. They go for the big name and let it go. One neighborhood that would seem to be ultra-exclusive and a target for any buyers agent or listing agent gave way to one post. My post is in position number one for any mention of that neighborhood. You don’t have to be an SEO expert to realize that nobody is bothering to compete in a real way for these luxury homes.

Most Of Page One Belongs To Dave Keys But Facebook Holds Out
Most of Google page one belongs to me for my name, Dave Keys but one particular spot holds out for another. That spot is one I’d been having sporadic appearances on Page one, but another usually takes it. I’m re-orienting my target to my public page on Facebook instead of my personal Facebook page.Now, I’ll promote the Web Strategies for Dave Keys | Facebook. Dave Keys holds most of page one on Google. An Orange County SEO expert should be able to dominate for Facebook, right?
