You simply have to create a link that shows up on every post and page. (The header, sidebar, footer or the bottom of the content area works just fine)
Step 1. Get the url for your Google plus profile like: https://plus.google.com/102218249545234404050
Step 2. Use it in a link as the URL.
Step 3. Use a rel tag- either rel=”author” or rel = “me” in your link. Google likes them both.
Step 4. Use your name, followed by a plus sign as your anchor text, like this: Davekeys+
I’ve actually used other things besides the funny Name+ format with success too. I used my Google avatar as the anchor with no text at all on one blog and it worked great.
