www.snappages.com is a free website provider with optional upgrades to their “Pro” version.

While it’s no WordPress, SnapPages is a quick, handy and good-looking interface and website for any beginner. In minutes, you can have a decent looking website with ease.

SnapPages is an excellent starter interface for anyone who needs a website quickly but has no experience in HTML or web design. The interface is clean and easy to use with drag-and-drop for everything. It can get a little confusing, but it’s bulletproof so it’s hard for a beginner to mess anything up.
As far as SEO, or any advanced HTML editing, a Pro account is required. The monthly cost is substantially more than that for a hosted WordPress blog, or WordPress.com account.
I added page, supposedly a “blog post” to my freebie account, but you have to use the same drag-and-drop interface to put text in a blog post as well. if you’re accustomed to WordPress this is going to feel awfully unnatural.

There are lots of techniques, rules of the road and preferred configurations that go into beating competition for search engine rankings but at the end of the day, you have to have better-than-your competitor standing in these two core factors in search optimization and Google placement for your website.The job of an SEO expert is to understand how best to apply these factors to promote your website in a way that Google will find acceptable and ensure that people are finding you when they want to obtain your product.

Got Another Page One Result – Almost By Accident, for Admirals Cove Homes

I have to be more careful about how I write my supporting real estate posts. I wrote one for a community in FL and positioned it as a gateway page, recommending my client’s site for free home search, real estate MLS without signups. The post is for “Admirals Cove Homes for sale” and it ended up on page one for Admirals Cove Homes, an effect I didn’t plan but it works nicely since my post is for showing the client’s site does not require sign in.

Several blogs I help manage got to the point where one had 670 links on the front page. I reduced the number of live posts and killed some of the categories in 2 posts. Lots more to go to get to the <100 sweet spot for SEO. Have to get the author to cool it on the tags and categories. Some 8 to 10 on each post is far too much!
