    A Bit About Tertiary Links

This is about tertiary links. It’s also a little bit about homes and real estate because that’s the whole point of my work here. Why tertiary links? Because, sometimes a back-link alone gets no “juice.” You build a blog, you insert back-links, the blog posts get indexed and stick. But then you perform a search to see what the results are and you discover that you got, perhaps one out of ten back links credited. Why? The site has too little value and the verification is squat. Everyone is selling homes and real estate is highly competitive. Homes for sale is a term that is abused and populated more than almost any online offering. You have to do a little more work and cite the blog from another source to prove anyone anywhere might even see it. This is where the inflation factor kicks in. Tertiary links from third party sources go further in verifying that the blog post is anything more than just a link source. Example: I’ve placed links to several real estate related videos on my strategyiskey.com blog but nothing is indexed, much less credited. This Menifee homes post is of little value unless it’s verified from another source like this one.

New Video Marketing for Real Estate

Today I launched a new video with no back-links yet. Google liked it enough that it’s already on page one for its long title. I’ll add some support on my blogs and see how it does for sorter keywords. The Menifee homes for sale in Calder Ranch are being built by Capital Pacific Homes throughout the spring. If you get in early enough, you can still make choices on items like flooring, dens and four (yes four) car garage options. These homes in Menifee are on one acre and range in size to over 4,000 sq. ft.

It doesn’t take a complete real estate SEO expert to know that video ranks well against stiff competition.

Blogroll vs. Backlinks in Article Content (WordPress)

I evaluated a competitor just ahead of me for Orange County SEO and discovered that most of the back links for the keyword came from one site and furthermore, from the blogroll, generating a large number of back links for the keyword. The weakness appeared to be that the software I used, SEO Spyglass, indicated that the link value was designated as zero, that’s right, 0. I don’t know how that assessment is reached but whatever the metric or the actual value, I have to agree that it was close. I wrote a few small articles on some of my blogs and this morning I had advanced ahead of that competitor with perhaps five new back links. That pretty well demonstrates the value of automatically generated links vs. contextual back links in article content, doesn’t it?

This would indicate that even in the context of this article, that has little to do with real estate, a back link to Palm Beach Gardens homes for sale or PGA National homes for sale or Fullerton Homes for sale holds more value than a generated link for the same appearing in the blogroll with every article posted.
